Para Controller Mini
The Para Controller Mini is a game controller designed specifically to play paragliding games and simulators.
The controller is plug and play to most windows and mac computers via usb and doesn’t need any drivers or special software.
The Para Controller Mini is based on the Arduino pro micro, designed on a custom PCB that houses 3 linear potentiometers, one rotary potentiometer, and 4 buttons switches, one latching and three temporary ones.
It comes fully programmed and ready to use with most paragliding simulator games - just make sure the controller is plugged in before you launch your game. If you’re looking for a compatible paragliding simulator, we’d recommend trying Evan Burrows’ Paragliding Sim or Joey Sipos’ Glider Sim
With Evans’ Sim, the controller is programmable via the Arduino IDE should you wish to change anything in the hardware or software
Also the extra unused pins on the micro controller are accessible should you wish to add extra inputs to your controller.

“Construction feels really solid and it was well packaged and arrived in one piece (thanks for the extra goodies in the bag btw :o)). It really was ‘plug and play’ and worked immediately after plugging it in to the laptop. I have since re-assigned some of the controls etc in Parasim but it was super easy to get going with and works seamlessly with Parasim. The most impressive thing is how much it improves the gameplay. It really is like playing a different game! I was using my keyboard before and that binary ‘on/off’ tapping away of the keys when initiating turns just wasn’t right. The analogue sliders are a revolution and the elastic bands give it that more realistic feel of brake lines returning after an input. Although new to paragliding, I’ve done loads of freefall parachuting so I’m pretty familiar with piloting a wing and I think that the controller makes it feel pretty realistic. I really love it and it’s completely transformed the sim for the better!”
